The next art element I noticed is t...

This painting was created by Sandro Botticelli in 1482. Sandro Botticelli was commissioned by the Medici Family of Florence. This painting represents a classic roman myth Venus the goddess of love has been born from the sea and is gently being blown to shore by Zephyrus the god of the winds. This piece also represents humanism during the Renaissance which places value on the individual human. Botticelli used tempera and oil on a poplar panel to create this masterpiece.
