Hi my name is Kody Carlson, I was born and raised in Alaska. I just got done with my second year at UAF. I enjoy listening to music working out, riding my motorcycle, playing basketball and video games. I also enjoy fishing and hunting and hanging with my friends and my dog riggs. I took this class to get my associates of arts and will be transferring to UCM to get my bachelors in Safety.

I have always been interested in art but have only taken one class in college for it besides this one. I am not the best at painting or drawing or anything art. However I still enjoy doing it even if it might not be the best compared to other peoples standards haha. I have sadly never been to a art museum or have attended first Friday's.  I would definitely love to though hopefully I will get sometime this summer. I am excited to see what this class can teach me and what I can learn from others!

    Hey Kody!

    Great blog and I saw that you mentioned your a fisherman and a hunter too. I wish you the best of luck this summer with some catches, might see me out there with my buddies, we love living on the water. Actually about to go on a trip this weekend to Birch lake to do a little bit of kayak fishing!

                                                             WW1 Influence on Art           The art made during the war were very intense as many showed the destruction and death war caused. As well as there view of war thru their eyes the horrors that came with it. This also showed lot's of people who may not have been in the war a snippet of what it is like.
